Julianne Smith is an Associate Director in the Office of the CIO at GEM. In this role, she contributes to asset allocation and portfolio construction for nonprofit clients, translating GEM's macroeconomic views and capital market assumptions into positioning across public and private markets. She is responsible for investment policy development, market commentary, and ongoing portfolio oversight. Prior to joining GEM in 2021, she was a Corporate Banking Analyst with J.P. Morgan in New York City. Julianne received a B.B.A. in Finance and Applied Math (summa cum laude) from the University of Notre Dame.
